Worrying new Covid alerts for Sydney as a busy Bunnings and Woolworths are exposed with infected venues spreading to Wollongong – so do you need to isolate?
More than a dozen new venues have been added to Sydney’s worrying list of exposure sites including a Bunnings Warehouse and a Woolworths supermarket.
The Bunnings in Penrith has been put on alert for anyone who visited the store on Sunday, July 18 between 3:35pm to 3:45pm and 5:15pm to 5:35pm.
NSW Health has advised those at the store within the affected times must isolate until given a negative result.
The same rules apply for any Sydneysiders who visited the Woolworths supermarket in Green Valley on Friday, July 16 from 3.15pm to 3.45pm.
Meanwhile a medical practice, two chemists and an Australia Post outlet have been exposed to the virus with thousands ordered to isolate for two weeks regardless of their Covid test results.

Two-week isolation orders have been given to anyone who visited the Cincotta Chemist in Merrylands on Thursday, July 15 from 8pm to 9pm and the Cincotta Chemist in Auburn on Friday, July 16 from 11am to 12pm.
The Haldon Street Medical Practice in Lakemba in Sydney’s south-west was also exposed to the virus over three days on Wednesday, July 14, Saturday July 17 and Sunday July 18.
