‘For me, its parks full of FREE electric BBQs,’ one American wrote.

‘They are everywhere and as a family we use them quite often, I suppose it promotes the outdoor lifestyle that Aussies love so much.’

Recently a photo shared of an Aussie maths teacher treating his students to a park barbecue lunch went viral on Reddit with many around the world shocked that such a thing existed.

Another US expat said they were pleasantly surprised at the amount of drive-thru services on offer.

Along with fast food chains such as McDonald’s and KFC, some Australian alcohol stores also allow customers to pick up their booze without stepping out of the car.

One said they developed a fondness for the tap-and-go method when doing their shopping, adding it wasn’t as popular in the States.

‘I’m from the U.K. and I love the extra public holidays over here,’ another revealed.

‘The Ekka, Australia Day, Anzac Day and the Queens bday are the extra ones off the top of my head.’

Others pointed out the country’s natural wildlife was a beauty all in its own, while one admitted the casualty of swearing was another bonus.

‘I’m from Brazil and there are so many better things here that make it impossible to choose one but I believe, for me, it is freedom!’ said another.
