James Argent reportedly feels ’10 years younger’ after losing five stone, following his gastric sleeve surgery in April.
However, The Sun reports that James’ impressive fitness journey means he’s had ‘less time to meet someone’, with the reality star’s last known relationship being Gemma Collins, whom he split from last year.

The publication reports: ‘Arg feels amazing and about ten years younger. He’s never been as fit and healthy as this and he only wants to continue going in the same direction.
They went on to that his slimmed down frame has given him ‘new found confidence’, with the singer ‘determined’ to ‘stretch himself’ with even more challenges.
The insider added: ‘On the downside all this working out means he has less time to meet someone – but there will be plenty of time for that.’
Despite the set-back in his love life, the insider adds that James is in a ‘great place’ at the moment as it’s all because of his fitness journey and weight loss.
Getting there: It’s said that the former TOWIE star, 33, feels more ‘confident’ after his epic weight loss (left), after doctors previously ordered him to ‘lose weight or die’
They went on: ‘He looks in the mirror and, day by day, sees the old Arg returning. Losing weight has been the most liberating experience of his life. Arg is aiming to lose at least ten stone and may even carry on if he can.’
MailOnline have contacted James’ representatives for comment.
It comes as Mark Wright has heaped praise on James as he continues to lose weight following his surgery, with the Sky Sports News presenter, 34, revealing he’s been mentoring his best friend.

He explained: ‘With Arg it’s all about motivation, just keeping him motivated, just giving him compliments and telling him that he can do it.
‘We’ve trained together a couple of times and just changing his lifestyle really. Making sure he gets up and getting the workout done first thing because otherwise he won’t.
‘Just going through the motions and helping him live how I live. Dieting and eating the right foods and letting him know that he doesn’t have to eat the bad foods that sometimes he chooses.

Meanwhile, James recently discussed slimming down after undergoing gastric sleeve surgery, saying he is ‘pleased’ with his progress.
The former TOWIE star talked about his weight and losing four stone during an appearance on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch last month, where he showed his slimmer figure.
Making changes: James recently underwent gastric sleeve surgery after his weight rose to nearly 27 stone and he has already shed more than four stone (seen left in 2019, right in May)
He reflected: ‘I’m four stone lighter now. It’s a really good start. Four stone out of 11 or 12 might seem like a drop in the ocean but I’m pleased I’ve made progress already.
‘I feel so much happier already, I feel healthier already, I’m lighter on my toes, I’m more confident. I’m really loving life at the moment.’
James also spoke about how weighing 27 stone prior to his surgery, saying he ‘felt horrible’ during the period.
He explained: ‘It felt horrible, I was always extremely uncomfortable, I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror.

‘It felt depressing and it just wasn’t me. Now I’m starting to feel like myself again and I’m excited about what the future is going to bring.’
The reality star went on: ‘It was scary being 27 stone… It was serious, doctors were telling me how dangerous it was… I knew it was something I had to address pretty quickly.’
Arg is currently on a mission to lose six stone by Christmas after undergoing gastric sleeve surgery.
James reportedly hopes to ‘lose at least a stone every month between now and 2022’ and will enlist the help of close friend and fitness fanatic Mark.
Earlier this year, Arg took to Instagram to share a snap of himself wrapped in a towel while at a lido as he explained to fans how he’s taking care of himself after surgery.
He penned: ‘It is extremely important that I continue to take good care of myself not just physically but mentally as well, After such a big operation & life change!’
