  • Owner warns others to not let their pets eat any meat which contains bones

This is the hilarious moment a cat growled and refused to let go of some KFC chicken it had managed to nab.

In a video shared online, cheeky moggy Karter can be seen holding a chicken wing firmly in his mouth.

Owner Faith Lim and her boyfriend Max Chapman, based in Melbourne, are seen trying to pull the meat and bone from the cat’s jaws but he simply will not let go.

The Australian cat continues to growl at the couple while keeping his mouth clenched, refusing to give up without a fight.

Faith can be heard saying: ‘Karter, no, you can’t have KFC!’ as Max attempts to remove the chicken from his mouth.

The video has since gone viral after garnering more than one million views online.

In a video uploaded to Instagram, Faith wrote: ‘I can’t with this cat, he’s a little terror!’

The domestic short-haired feline is only five months old, but clearly already has quite the appetite.

Faith added: ‘It’s not the first time this has happened, but it’s the first time I ever decided to film it!

‘For the ones who don’t know why we’re desperately trying to get it out, cats can’t eat food that is too oily or salty, and cooked bone splinters are very dangerous for them.’

According to cats.org, pet felines can eat chicken but it must be cooked.

It added that it is best boiled and owners must make sure it contains no bones.
