A YouTuber and ‘fast food addict’ has revealed how he completely transformed his body and shed a staggering 22 kilograms by totally overhauling his dietary intake and exercise habits.
Mitch now weighs just 82kg and has lost much of his visceral fat, after taking on a personalised food program designed by the ‘pocket nutrition coach’, Equalution.
‘I used to be so unhealthy, but I treat my body like a car and see food as fuel now,’ Mitch told FEMAIL.
‘My entire life is different since losing the weight, I don’t even feel like the same person anymore.’

Mitch Orval , 24, from Brisbane confessed he tipped the scales at 104 kilos before he started his diet and fitness journey around a year and a half ago, and now weighs 82kg (pictured)
The 24-year-old said while his diet looks very different now, for a long time he was all about ‘reaching for the easiest meal possible, which was usually takeaway’.
‘Breakfast would be something like two pieces of sourdough with Vegemite, avocado, bacon, halloumi and three full-cream lattes,’ Mitch said.
‘Normally, I’d have Uber Eats for lunch – either a pub feed or Subway – and Uber Eats for dinner – either a pizza or fast food with ice cream.’
These days, Mitch has replaced his takeaway habit with a weekly ‘personalised and balanced nutrition plan’ created for him by Equalution that focuses on being in a calorie deficit.
A calorie deficit occurs when you consume fewer calories than your body expends.

Mitch’s plan has been designed to include all of his favourite foods, like smashed avocado on toast, Teriyaki salmon poke bowls, hot and spicy peanut noodles and Caramello Koala baked oats.
He even said he gets to have a macro-friendly version of one of his favourite meals, chicken and rice with curry sauce and chilli oil:
‘I love that with Equaalution you can work to recreate the meals you love fit within a calorie deficit,’ he added.
‘Wholefoods now form 98 per cent of my diet.
‘Nutrition is the foundation to a good body, and without it, your foundations are built on sand.’

Mitch’s diet and exercise secrets
* Track your macros daily and record exactly what you’re eating.
* Take shortcuts with your favourite foods and replace them so you get a ‘fakeaway’ alternative to your top takeaway dish.
* Run three kilometres every single day, regardless of the weather.
* Stay disciplined and accountable, and make sure you’re writing down what you’re doing to remain motivated.
Since losing the weight, Mitch said his entire life has changed.
‘Sometimes, when I see photos or videos, I feel sad for the person I was and I just want to help him,’ he said.
‘I see the same in so many people today, stuck in the same toxic cycles and desperate to break out.’
Every day, Mitch now has people reach out to him on Instagram to ask how he did it, and he has just one word for them: discipline.
‘If you want to change your body, you have to sacrifice the short-term rewards for the long-term gains,’ he said.
‘I got obsessed with them and discipline now rules my life.’
As well as sticking to his daily macros and tracking exactly what he eats, the 24-year-old has been running three kilometres every single day without fail for 186 days now.
‘I keep myself accountable by tracking my meals and snacks, and if I’m out for dinner and not sure what to eat, I use the in app live messenger to chat to my coach, who then assists me on finding an item on the menu or a shortcut immediately,’ he said.

Mitch has designed an eight-week program with Equalution to help others to shake the weight he has managed to get rid of.
Finally, he shared his advice for others who want to do something about their weight, but don’t know where to start:
‘With a bit of self-awareness, a touch of accountability, and a whole lot of discipline, I’d love to see you check in with yourself in 12 months!’ he said.
